The Witwatersrand Basin, stretching beneath the Highveld plateau, is the most prolific gold-bearing geological formation ever discovered. Sterling Ore's South African operations are centered on deep-level reef mining in the West Rand and Central Rand sub-basins, where gold-bearing conglomerate reefs run at depths of 1–4 km.
Our South African processing facilities include carbon-in-leach (CIL) gold recovery circuits, on-site smelting, and advanced platinum group metals (PGM) flotation concentration. Every gram extracted undergoes independent third-party assay before entering our international logistics chain.
